The Idea
Re-imagining the Future of Space
The concept for the Coastal Chic Retreat focuses on bringing the serenity and charm of coastal living into an urban apartment. The goal is to create a relaxing, beach-inspired space that feels light, airy, and refreshing. The design will incorporate natural materials, a soothing color palette, and nautical elements to evoke the feeling of a seaside escape.
— We started with
Kitchen Design
The kitchen will be designed to be both practical and visually appealing. It will include white shaker-style cabinetry, a quartz countertop with subtle veining, and stainless steel appliances. A kitchen island with wicker bar stools will provide additional seating and a touch of coastal charm. Open shelving will display coastal dishware and glassware. The color scheme will mirror the living area, ensuring a seamless transition between spaces.
— The Fundamentals
Bedroom Design
The bedroom will be a tranquil retreat, reminiscent of a beachside cottage. A four-poster bed with a canopy of flowing white fabric will be the focal point, complemented by nightstands made from driftwood. Soft, airy bedding in shades of white and blue will ensure comfort. A vintage-style armoire will provide ample storage. A window seat with cushions will offer a cozy nook for reading or relaxing, enhancing the serene atmosphere.
— Product Design
Bathroom Design
The bathroom will combine coastal elegance with modern amenities. Key features will include a freestanding bathtub with a view, a vanity with a marble countertop, and a large mirror framed in driftwood. The use of mosaic tiles in shades of blue will add a touch of the ocean. The color palette will be light and airy, with soft lighting to create a calming, spa-like atmosphere.
